Homelessness is a secondary issue… First and foremost, all children deserve safety, a place to sleep, stability, and opportunities to reach their full potential. These things are necessary in order to expect functional behavior, productivity, and healthy connections to people and the community.

Our goal is to develop a comprehensive, coordinated community response to runaway and homeless youth situations that will insure provision of necessary emergency services, through the establishment of a NYS certified short-term runaway/homeless youth shelter program to serve youths from infants to 21 year olds in Warren, Washington and surrounding counties.

The first place we want youth is back with their families, whenever possible and feasible; the last place we want youth is on the street, disenfranchised.
